Position: Full-time Equipment Technician
Hours: Monday – Friday 7:00 am – 5:00 pm
Job Summary: The Equipment Technician is responsible for repairing and maintenance of spray equipment. Mechanically inclined or previous small engine repair experience is preferred.
Job Responsibilities:
- Maintenance and repairs on Spray Equipment
- Maintain inventory of spray parts
- Ensuring that high customer service standards are maintained, and customer issues are quickly and efficiently resolved
- Assist customers in person and over the phone with questions/orders regarding equipment
- Ensures the efficiency of all daily operational procedures
- Assist with monthly inventory.
- Cleaning and maintenance of shop.
- Other duties as assigned by manager.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Must be prompt and on time daily.
- Valid Driver's License and good driving record.
- Excellent customer service skills, on the phone and in person
- Ability to effectively communicate with customers and store/sales team
- Good teamwork skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledgeable of basic computer programs
- Ability to problem solve
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to lift 50 pounds frequently
- Must be able to operate with limited supervision and guidance
- Should be mechanically inclined and have some mechanical experience (not necessarily on spray equipment, but preferred)
- Small engine repair experience a plus
This job requires standing, stooping, kneeling, bending, walking, reaching overhead, gripping, squatting, and carrying the product to and from the delivery and customer vehicles as well as to areas within the store.
