Electrical Engineer

ELECTRICAL ENGINEER

Location: Cedar City, UT

Reports to: Engineering Manager

Compensation: $115 - $130K

Responsibilities & Requirements of the ELECTRICAL ENGINEER:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• 7 years experience working as an Electrical Engineer
• Experience in an industrial, chemical, or manufacturing environment highly preferred
• PE license is a PLUS!
• Expertise in electrical systems, power distribution, control systems (PLC, DCS), and instrumentation
• Proficiency in electrical design software (AutoCAD preferred) and ability to read and understand drawings, blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
• Solid understanding of regulatory compliance including OSHA, NFPA, and NEC standards
• Project management experience leading and contributing to capital projects including planning, design, procurement, and installation
• Maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment with an ability to diagnose, resolve, and ensure proper operation
• Outstanding collaboration and communication with a desire to work cross-functionally across the organization
• Medium voltage experience is a MUST and High voltage experience is a PLUS – working with transformers, substations, and power distribution systems
• Must be a US citizen
