Spectrum Staffing Group has an immediate need for a Benefits Manager to oversee and champion a company of approximately 3,000 employees in the US and Canada.
Position Overview:
The Benefits Manager designs and manages comprehensive health and financial benefits programs to support employee satisfaction, talent retention, and compliance in the USA and Canada. This role ensures program effectiveness, maintains vendor relationships, and aligns benefits offerings with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement health and financial benefits plans (medical, dental, vision, leave) aligned with company goals and compliance requirements. Oversee program budgeting and vendor relationships.
- Ensure adherence to legal regulations (ERISA, HIPAA, etc.) and conduct regular audits to identify areas for improvement.
- Analyze benefits data and prepare reports for senior leadership to assess program effectiveness and make recommendations for improvements.
- Manage USA and Canada mobility programs, ensuring compliance with international regulations.
- Lead and develop a high-performance benefits team.
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of ERISA, IRS, and benefits regulations.
- Experience with self-insured and fully insured benefits.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRMS systems.
- 7 years in benefits administration (including 2 years in the USA). Canadian experience preferred.
- Global mobility experience is a plus.
- Proven process improvement and project management skills.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to manage dynamic environments and lead teams effectively.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to manage sensitive issues.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
