SUMMARY
We are seeking a qualified warehouse supervisor with a high knowledge of warehouse stocking systems and warehousing techniques. Inventory management experience is a big plus.
RESPONSIBILITES
- Supervise daily operations and team members to attain departmental objectives
- Receive products from vendor deliveries and ensure unload of trucks; compare packing list to purchase orders to ensure delivery is accurate
- Monitors unloading of all materials in the receiving dept., ensures materials are staged for counting & inspection; ensure that Receiving Reports accurately report the material received
- Update product inventory in ERP system as products are received
- Resolve discrepancies timely regarding packing slips and Company Purchase Orders
- Oversee the movement of material from receiving to the warehouse in an efficient, effective and safe manner
- Plan and coordinates work, trains and motivates, monitors and evaluates performance of receiving associates; ensures their ability to safely operate material handling equipment to move materials to and from storage configurations; counsels, records and disciplines as necessary
- Ensure materials are stored properly to conserve space and comply with safety procedures; Oversees the rotation of inventories within the warehouse
- Responsible for scheduling & coordinating incoming deliveries
- Adhere to company policies regarding receiving procedures, documentation, and reporting
QUALIFICATIONS
- 3 yrs. minimum Warehouse Supervisory experience required
- 3 yrs. minimum Inventory Management experience required
- Associates Degree required; Bachelors preferred
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and data entry
- Strong pc skills in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and ERP concepts required
- Calm demeanor and level head for trouble-shooting & handling issues as they arise
- Ability to carry out policies and procedures
- Effective and professional demeanor when engaging employees
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to delegate
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks/projects
- Ability to lift and move an excess of 50 lbs. unassisted
COMPENSATION: $58,000-$62,000
