With the phenomenal expansion of SPEEDY Delivery, LLC, the breadth and volume of associated work has likewise increased for our Accounts Receivable (A/R) team. We are seeking an Accounting Assistant to bill our clients accurately and on time while driving the quickest possible return of payments.
The optimal candidate is dedicated, thorough, and communicative. Our new Accounting Assistant will perform a multitude of A/R tasks with the primary aim of supporting our enterprise as follows:
- Billing: Use billing tools in Google Sheets and other platforms to inform clients as soon as possible of balances owed via invoice.
- Collections: Review accounts to identify past-due balances and engage in reporting and payment recovery efforts
- Audit: Review account invoices and payments to identify and resolve discrepancies
- Reporting: Prepare and transmit regular reports on account status
- Service & Support: Provide excellent service and support to external and internal clients
- Communications: Communicate with management for resolution of the root causes of emergent issues
The above represents anticipated duties at the commencement of employment, with the expectation that all other tasks commensurate with the role may develop further with the employee.
Qualifications for Accounting Assistant
- Experience in Google Sheets, Excel, and QuickBooks Online
- Outstanding typing speed and accuracy
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including strong spelling, grammar, and punctuation
- Advanced computer skills and aptitude with technology
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Prior experience with Accounts Receivable
- Prior experience with RDS/Bearware, PCSTrac, and Dispatch Track or comparable software platforms
- Time management and organizational skills
- Commitment to outstanding quality of work and the maintenance thereof through adherence to standards set by management
- Careful attention to detail
Preferred Education & Experience
- High school diploma
- 1-2 years of A/R experience
Compensation
- $45,000.00 annually (DOQ)

- 40 hours / week plus overtime as needed
