What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Machine Operator position at Spherion?
Spherion is hiring CNC Machine Operators to work in Asheville, NC in automotive manufacturing. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience as a machine operator in automotive parts manufacturing. However, entry level candidates are welcome to apply!
Schedule: Monday-Friday with weekend overtime
1st Shift 7:00AM-3:00PM
2nd Shift 3:00PM-11:00PM
3rd Shift 11:00PM-7:00AM
Responsibilities of the CNC Machine Operator:
Assemble complex subassemblies from blueprints
Make necessary adjustments and replace tools or parts as required
Maintain all fluid levels of equipment and report malfunctions and safety issues
Understand and adhere to current quality and control policies
Skills of the CNC Machine Operator:
Experience using measurement tools, micrometers and calipers
Basic blueprint reading and SPC knowledge
Possess excellent computer skills to confirm measurements or adjust CNC machines
Qualifications of the CNC Machine Operator:
At least one year of experience as a machine operator preferred
High school diploma or GED
