Description
Our Account Manager will need to be a dynamic individual with a passion for generating new revenue with our existing clients and hitting sales goals while properly developing relationships for sauces within the industry. They are a key member of our team and responsible for all internal sales activities and sales associated to our clients and Retail Outlet Store. Individual responsibilities may include:
- Develop individual account plans for key accounts. Manage customer accounts through on-going account planning, and appropriate communications consistent with marketing strategy. Manage, grow, and maintain their client list that consistently attains quarterly revenue goals by growing existing business.
- Demonstrating outstanding customer service, communication and selling skills, and occasionally assisting in display of merchandise or organizing the selling floor and stock areas.
- Process payments by totaling orders, creating invoices and organizing shipments. Maintains a professional attitude with sincerity and enthusiasm reflecting commitment to our customer.
- Develop and maintain product knowledge by reading provided material in order to communicate it to the customer. Stays current with promotional events and sales.
- Assist checking in all visitors to Spicin Foods, ensure warm reception and proper flow for customer, visitors, candidates and team members; following proper security protocols adhering to food safety guidelines; ensuring all entrance, gift shop, office area and conference rooms are clear of clutter, organized and items are stored in proper locations;
- Provide outstanding customer service and selling skills, assist with retail outlet store and tour groups, organize the selling floor and stock areas; delivering samples of products per customer request; process payments by totaling purchases; processing checks, cash, or other credit cards;
- Customer and Distributor orders, input orders immediately up to 24 hours upon receipt; processing and filling orders within 1-3 days for ground shipment, and within 3-5 days for trucks; proactively reaching out to customers to collect payment on all orders as assigned;
- Assist with answering phone lines, run daily web order report for fulfillment; ensuring office supplies are stocked; order supplies as inventory gets low; manage and distribute general contact email inbox; complete tasks as assigned by the leadership; work as a team to ensure clear, consistent communication, enhance the Spicin Foods brand; answer inquiry calls, assist in store and main phone line as needed
Requirements
The successful candidate will possess:
- 2 years’ recent experience with business to business customer relationships, marketing dynamics and requirements advanced knowledge of sales principles and customer service practices.
- Ability to work as part of a team, as well as take initiative independent of direct supervision
- Physical demands: This position involves constant moving, talking, hearing, reaching, grabbing and standing for at least two consecutive hours. May occasionally involve stooping, kneeling, crouching and climbing ladders.
