Design Expertise in Senior Living:
- Experience designing for independent living, assisted living, memory care, and skilled nursing facilities.
- Knowledge of designing spaces that promote safety, accessibility, and comfort for residents.
- Familiarity with building codes, FGI (Federal Guidelines Institute), ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) regulations, and local/state licensing requirements for senior living facilities.
- Familiarity with trends in senior living, such as small-house, person-centered design, hospitality, intergenerational living, and wellness-focused environments.
Requirements:
- Bachelor or master's degree in Architecture from an accredited university/college.
- Architectural License in the United States; eligibility for reciprocity is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of architectural experience.
