Account Executive
Summary
The Account Executive is a major contributor to SPINS overall growth and profitability. This successful deal closer is responsible for driving revenue growth by prospecting, identifying, and establishing strategic client relationship with a consultative approach.
This hands-on role requires a strong focus on positioning SPINS Solution Suites including data subscriptions, consulting services, and digital solutions to meet client needs and business objectives. This individual will help to accelerate growth for SPINS products & services by cultivating new business development utilizing sales platforms, tools, and processes. This role will negotiate and close transactions with clients based on a core set of SPINS solutions, and then harness and coordinate the full value of SPINS with Customer Success to maximize client impact and revenue. The Account Executive will be responsible for achieving monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets of delivered revenue, building SPINS' business and advancing SPINS business and relationships with clients.
This position reports to the VP, Sales.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Identify and target key customer segments, industries, and areas for revenue generation through leveraging cold calls, sales tools, technology & other innovative solutions
- Uncover new sales opportunities through networking and turn them into long term partnerships, inclusive of but not limited to tradeshow attendance and travel
- Create detailed business plans to facilitate the attainment of goals and quotas
- Managing and supporting clients throughout the full sales cycle, right from early engagement and discovery, negotiation and contracting, through to implementation and go live.
- Build strong working relationships with internal teams (Customer Success & Support, Finance, Legal, and Marketing) to enable an efficient interaction between SPINS & the client and drive new client acquisition, renewal, and account expansion opportunities.
- Prepare and present regular sales reports and forecasts to the leadership team
- Responsible for the retention, contract negotiation and contract extensions of partners in the individual account portfolio
- Execute and develop NEW account sales strategy and monitor account performance. Review performance data with client to influence buying and promotional partnership

Salary Range : $60,000 and $40,000 commission potential
