What you’ll do:
The Director of Operations is responsible for managing and improving day-to-day operations including designing and refining operating processes and tools used to evaluate and improve performance for all ONS locations. This position will assist the Practice Vice President to translate core organizational goals into strategic operational objectives with a focus on a team-based approach.
Responsibilities/Duties:
- Plan, implement and manage staff roles that impact all points of patient/practice interactions
- Developing and implementing tools and best practices to support Operations staff in their ability to provide excellent customer service and the smooth operation of the physicians’ and facilities’ schedules
- Oversee staff training, performance evaluations, and assist in establishing performance goals.
- Focus more on broad responsibilities than specific tasks.
- Work collaboratively and under supervision of the VP to oversee all operational workflows/processes for ONS. Implement and monitor policies, procedures, and workflows to optimize operations. Collaborate with department heads to ensure seamless patient care and service delivery.
- Monitor financial performance, including revenue, expenses, and profitability. Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement financial controls.
- Direct responsibility and oversight of management team for Patient Access, Call Center, and administrative functions including Medical Records.
- Evaluate on an ongoing basis the efficiency of business procedures according to the organizations objectives and apply appropriate improvements.
- Plan, monitor, and analyze key metrics for the day-to-day performance of the operations to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks.
- Oversee patient support processes and organize them to enhance patient satisfaction.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including physicians, staff, patients, and community partners.
- Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
- Handles corrective action of employees as needed and in accordance with company policy.
- Participate in the hiring and training of departmental managers.
- Conduct necessary operational assessments and develop/direct plans for integrating and streamlining workflows.
- Participation in preparation of annual operating and project budgets.
- Coach staff providing feedback and constructive critique of work, facilitates the development of their problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Oversight of special projects as needed.
- Other operational duties as necessary.

- A bachelor’s degree in business or business administration; MBA preferred.
- At least 3 years in a supervisory position.
- Experience in healthcare environment required
- Strong business acuity with solid knowledge of operations management
- Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Diligent and proactive results-driven personality
- Exceptional organizational and leadership skills
- Proficient in MS Office and computer systems
- Collaborative and able to motivate and energize cross functional team members to achieve aggressive goals.
- Strong problem-solving, and analytical skills, able to facilitate discussions among groups with diverse technical expertise to reach solutions.

Salary : $110,100 - $154,200
