A Title Clerk maintains vehicle title workflow by sorting and forwarding title information; supporting operations. Any automotive accounting experience is a plus! Compensation is based on experience.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepares tax and title documents and submits to state authorities
- Verifies payoffs on trades, and send payoffs/collects titles
- Compiles and maintains a complete list of title work still pending. Uses excel to maintain and update the list daily, including missing items needed to complete all deals
- Processes yearly renewal of dealer tags in for his/her stores
- Processes titles for auctions sales, and then post receipt checks
- Assists the sales and finance departments in making sure paperwork runs smoothly
- Handle customer and dealership inquiries regarding tag and title issues
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Understands all title guidelines, and keeps knowledge level current and up to date on state requirements
