Job Description
Job Title: Residential Treatment Attendant
Definition of Position: Coordinates, supervises and provides for safety and security of all SPARC participants and facilities during assigned shift. This listing is for a graveyard position.
Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:
Supervises group activities and facilitates lectures as scheduled or needed.
Assess any urgent individual or program need, addresses the need within agency policy and procedures, and seeks guidance through proper channels when necessary.
Administer intake forms, agency forms and reviews program information packets with individual at admit.
Supervises participant self-search and inventory as to ensure participant has all necessary items for treatment stay and that no unauthorized items or contraband is allowed on SPARC premises.
Monitors and documents participant self-administration of medication.
Document significant data in participant log and/or file.
Tour frequently, all facilities ensuring security and all participant rooms to assure that all DOH Standards and WAC requirements for adult residential treatment facilities are maintained.
Responsibly assess, administer First Aid and/or coordinate transport of any participant in acute physical or mental distress to the proper treatment delivery system as needed.
Responsibly interpret and enforce all SPARC guidelines and regulations in the absence of day treatment and administrative personnel.
Maintain participant confidentiality and sign confidentiality agreement.

Minimum Qualifications:
Valid Washington State Drivers License and evidence of automobile insurance at initial employment and verified as requested.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Obtain an initial pre-employment TB test. TB Risk Screens annually with follow through of recommendations dependent on responses.
Current First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Card renewed annually or as required.
Current Food Handler’s permit.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
