Spokane Produce, Inc. is seeking a qualified Facility General Maintenance Person to add to our team!

JOB SUMMARY:

The Facility General Maintenance person will assist in basic routine building maintenance and repairs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Assist the maintenance department and the workflow to assure effective and efficient resolution of all building maintenance issues and repairs
• Perform basic routine maintenance
• Cleans building work areas and facility grounds as needed.
• Establish and maintain effective relationships with Processing, Kitchen and Warehouse departments
• Maintain safe and clean working environment by enforcing all procedures, rules and regulations
• Keep accurate testing and maintenance records of all equipment
• Walk facility grounds daily to identify maintenance issues in need of repair

• Responsible for snow removal and de-ice grounds as needed

• Complete and review daily, weekly and monthly departmental reports, orders and logs

• Other duties as assigned

 MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be proactive, assertive and have basic knowledge and understanding of facility maintenance processes and procedures
• Previous experiance with basic equipment and power tools.
• Must have the ability to communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing
• Computer, communication, record keeping and basic math skills.
• Customer focused, providing service consistently exceeding expectations to both internal and external customers
• Ability to prioritize needs and effectively manage resources appropriately.
• Familiarity with basic carpentry, plumbing and electrical. 
• Analytical problem-solving skills
• Work independently with minimal supervision

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
Requires some physical exertion to manually move, lift, carry, pull or push heavy objects or materials, up to 100 pounds occasionally. Due to working outside, candidate will be tolerant of extreme weather conditions. Must have the ability to concentrate in a noisy environment.
