About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for operating advanced imaging equipment, including computed tomography scanners, to produce high-quality diagnostic images. They will also be involved in preparing patients for imaging procedures, ensuring that all equipment is properly maintained, and collaborating with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Operate computed tomography scanners to produce high-quality diagnostic images
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures, including explaining the process and positioning them correctly
- Ensure that all imaging equipment is properly maintained and calibrated
- Work collaboratively with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field
- Current certification as a Registered Technologist (RT) in Computed Tomography (CT)
- At least 2 years of experience working as a CT Technologist in a hospital or healthcare facility
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
