Regional Marketing Manager

Position: Regional Marketing Manager (Central East)
Reports to: Director, Field Marketing
Location: Remote
Job Description:
You’ll play an integral part in putting the properties first, ensuring they have the tools and resources to be as successful as possible. As the ‘voice of the property,’ the Regional Marketing Manager will be the main point of contact for all things marketing at a portion of our hotels ensuring marketing strategies are properly implemented, executed, and ultimately deliver on desired KPIs. You’ll also have the opportunity to help us shape the future of the field marketing structure by assisting with process, workflow and efficiencies. But of course, not without the support of your partner in crime, the HQ Marketing team.

ONGOING EVERYDAY TASKS
- Strategy:
- Assist HQ Marketing Team in building out the framework for a successful field marketing structure. Take on special projects in process and workflow that help improve efficiency.
- As the voice of the property, relay challenges and opportunities to impact change. Act as a filter for new initiatives and rollout timing.
- Account Management:
- You’ll be the main point of contact for the properties and act as a conduit between field and the HQ Marketing team.
- Onboarding of new EC members to the marketing department
- Ensure that property teams are set up for success with access to necessary systems, information, and reporting.
- Coordinate and manage monthly marketing meetings with each of the properties. This includes setting agenda, compiling information such as reporting to review, recapping notes and following up on an outstanding action items.
- Champion and audit the hotel teams use of marketing systems, partners, processes, practices, and reporting tools to identify areas of vulnerability/opportunities and use the insight to recommend strategies to leverage systems more expertly.
- Visits to property upon request/as needed.
- Execution and implementation
- In collaboration with HQ Marketing team, oversee property-level campaigns that align to critical business needs within annual business plans
- Manage marketing plans/calendars for each property.
- Coordinate content collection, production, and delivery of assets with appropriate partners in creative, digital, lifestyle and social.
- Work closely with HQ Marketing team on communication and plans to rollout tests, initiatives, and programs
- Partner with Digital Marketing Agencies and HQ Marketing team to measure success of campaigns.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
EXPERIENCE:
- 5-7 years of progressive marketing experience; including producing marketing plans/campaigns that drive performance.
- Minimum of three (3) years within in a regional and/or Home Office capacity in overseeing multiple hotels, properties or business units
- Achieved a bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or similar
- Experience in upper-upscale, independent, boutique or lifestyle hotels (preferred)
- Experience with B2C and B2B marketing
- Proficiency with digital marketing and traditional marketing
- Strong project management experience
- Incredibly skilled at customer and partner communications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize effectively.
- Accountability and resourcefulness
- Meticulous attention to detail and organization
PHYSICAL ABILITIES:
- Endure various physical movements throughout the work areas, such as reaching, bending and stooping.
- Repetitive hand motion (typing) for extended periods of time.
OTHER EXPECTATIONS:
- Abide by payroll policies, procedures and rules of conduct as stated in the Springboard Hospitality Associate Handbook.
- Demonstrate a working knowledge of all company safety and security procedures.
- Travel required: 15-20% (heavier in beginning with familiarization of properties, then more as needed)
- Hours Required: Must primarily work during Springboard Hospitality business hours, Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm (PST), while understanding that the hotel business functions 24/7 and some weekend or holiday work may occasionally be required.
Salary : $100,000 - $110,000
