Position Details:
MEDICAL LAB TECH
Facility Address: 1017 West 7th Street,
Wray, Colorado, 80758 USA
PAY: $40/hr to 44/hr (Based on experience and speciality)
- Shift: 10hr/Day, 8hrs/Day, 12hrs/Day (Both Day and Night shift available)
- Contract Length: 13 weeks with possible extensions
- Guaranteed Hours: 40-48 hours/week

Qualifications:
- Minimum Experience: 2 years of recent experience as a Medical Technologist.
- Preferred Experience: Working in high-volume clinical labs with a focus on precision and patient-centred care.
Job Duties:
- Specimen Collection and Processing: Collect various types of biological specimens, such as blood, urine, tissue samples, and body fluids, from patients or donors. Process specimens by centrifugation, separation, and aliquoting to prepare them for analysis.
- Laboratory Testing: Perform a wide range of routine and specialized laboratory tests using automated analyzers, manual techniques, and specialized equipment. Test areas may include haematology, clinical chemistry, microbiology, immunology, blood banking, and urinalysis.
- Quality Control and Assurance: Perform and document quality control procedures to ensure the accuracy, precision, and reliability of laboratory test results. Monitor instrument performance, troubleshoot technical issues, and perform corrective actions as needed.
- Blood Banking and Transfusion Services: Perform compatibility testing, blood typing, antibody screening, and cross matching for blood transfusions. Prepare blood products, issue blood components, and maintain inventory control in blood bank operations.
