Key Responsibilities:
We are looking for a results-oriented Marketing and Communications Coordinator with experience driving brand awareness, lead generation, and customer engagement through strategic marketing initiatives. Proven ability to manage multiple projects, execute campaigns across various channels (e.g., social media, email marketing, content creation), and analyze data to optimize performance. Skilled in copywriting, SEO and events] It encompasses two distinct roles in marketing and communications this will require strategic thinking and planning, detailed research and the implementation of developed strategies.
Marketing Coordinator: In the marketing department at SRGE you will spearhead impactful strategies to grow our customer base and build brand awareness in the construction space.
- Craft compelling marketing content (case studies, white papers, blog posts, social media, newsletters) that showcases our value proposition and resonates with target audiences.
- Conduct market research to identify industry trends and competitive analysis
- Develop and manage engaging social media campaigns, including creating content, and scheduling posts.
- Analyze marketing performance metrics and adjust strategies to optimize ROI.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align marketing efforts with company goals.
- Help plan and coordinate events and promotions
- Assist with the content creation and graphic design of marketing materials such as brochures, flyers and presentations
- Performing administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings and maintaining marketing databases
- Assist with any other tasks as assigned
Communications: In this role, you will be responsible for the customer journey from cultivating interest to scheduling the interview.
- Develop and implement data-driven communication plans in alignment with the overall company objectives [offline, online eg press releases, website copy]
- Periodically, participate in project meetings in -person. As such represent the company as required during design review meetings with the design team, project coordination
- Successfully perform other duties as assigned.
- Manage lead generation initiatives and nurture leads through the sales funnel.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and identify new opportunities [inperson events, online events, awards]
- Assist with media relations activities, such as pitching stories to journalists and developing press materials.
- Support with event planning and execution, including managing logistics and creating promotional materials.
- Analyze communication campaign performance metrics and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Maintain a comprehensive brand voice and tone across all communication channels.
- Perform other communication-related duties as assigned.
- Develop and maintain communication reports and dashboards
Fundamental KPIs:
- Lead generation - at a minimum 5 new accelerator applications
- Conversion - at a minimum 3 onboarded candidates either on the growth, on-demand or hybrid program of the accelerator
- Brand Awareness and reach metrics - a month-on-month social media report to include engagement, follower growth, reach and any other pertinent metrics
- Calculation of CAC [Customer Acquisition Cost] - for in-person events and social media done quarterly or month-on-month
- Marketing Campaign ROI [Return On Investment] - the effectiveness of all marketing campaigns
- Increase email marketing open rate by 5% month on month
- Attend and collect a minimum of 3 events per quarter and collect 5 contact details per event for potential partners or participants for our accelerator program
Other Duties Include:
- This role requires you to be remote with site visits 6x per year, alternating months for one week. Additional travel time is to be jointly considered.
- Research to understand current trends in the industry allowing the accelerator to maintain a cutting edge.
- Evaluate accelerator companies’ marketing and communications strategies
- Contribute to the development of a roadmap for marketing and communication.
- Utilize data analytics tools to extract insights and inform decision-making. Monitor analytics, and adjust market dynamics.
- Create or oversee policies and procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a communications or marketing role.
- Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to craft clear, concise, and engaging content for diverse audiences.
- Proven experience in social media management, including content creation, scheduling, and community engagement.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- A creative and strategic mindset with a passion for storytelling.
