What are the responsibilities and job description for the Intern: Quantum Sciences position at SRI?
SRI International has openings for interns at the Princeton, NJ location within the Advanced Technology and Systems Division (ATSD) to support activities ranging from cyber-physical to quantum sensing systems.
The interns will be part of a team of applied physicists and engineers working on research and development (R&D) projects to realize proof-of-concept demonstrations and participate in field tests for government and commercial customers. The work will encompass the full span of design, implementation, and testing of advanced prototype systems. The successful candidates should be ready to work with researchers from a variety of backgrounds and contribute to ongoing research efforts.
ATSD performs R&D across a range of disciplines spanning design through implementation of advanced optical, quantum, radar, and imaging systems, transitioning technology from basic R&D to fieldable prototypes. This work is conducted for a variety of US government clients with applications from basic scientific exploration to national security.
The positions will be on-site in our Princeton, NJ office. Interns can work in either the spring semester or during the summer.
