Our client, a leader in the industrial manufacturing industry, is seeking a Director of Human Resources to oversee all HR functions, including talent management, employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, and policy development. This position plays a critical role in aligning HR strategies with business objectives to foster a positive workplace culture and ensure compliance with labor laws and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and initiatives to support company goals.
  • Supervise and provide strategic guidance on staffing plans, compensation, benefits, training, and labor relations.
  • Lead talent acquisition strategies to attract and retain top talent.
  • Administer HR programs, including performance management, employee engagement, and compliance.
  • Ensure adherence to federal and state labor laws, consulting legal counsel as needed.
  • Oversee employee relations policies and practices to maintain high job satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with leadership on workforce planning, retention, and organizational development.
  • Lead HR team members, providing mentorship, training, and performance oversight.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Equivalent experience may be considered.
  • Experience: Minimum of 4-10 years of progressive HR leadership experience, with expertise in employment law, compliance, compensation, and benefits administration.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in HRIS systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and payroll software.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage and influence all levels of the organization.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze data, develop insights, and implement strategic HR solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • HR certifications (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR)
  • Experience in [industry, e.g., manufacturing, healthcare, construction, etc.]
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus

Work Environment & Physical Demands

  • Office-based role with occasional exposure to operational areas.
  • Must be able to sit, stand, walk, and occasionally lift up to 10 lbs.
  • Minimal travel may be required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $140,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
