LABOR/DELIVERY MANAGER (REGISTERED NURSE)
Location: Las Vegas, Nevada, United States
Pay: $101,500 to $134,488 (Base Salary)
Shift: Full-time
Brief Overview:
Join our team at a 336-bed facility, part of a six-hospital system in the Las Vegas area. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Labor/Delivery Manager (Registered Nurse) to lead our Women's Center. This role is crucial in ensuring our high standards of care for new mothers and newborns.
Description:
As the Labor/Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for the 24-hour management of the Labor and Delivery unit, ensuring that patient care meets the highest standards. You will oversee all aspects of unit operations, including labor, delivery, recovery, antepartum, postpartum care, and the newborn nursery. Our Women's Center is a key part of our hospital, which is recognized for its excellence in maternity care, and features a Level III neonatal intensive care unit.

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the 24-hour management of the assigned unit.
- Assure patient care meets the standard of care.
- Manage and supervise staff within the Labor and Delivery unit.
- Oversee the delivery of comprehensive nursing care to patients during labor, delivery, and postpartum periods.
- Ensure compliance with all hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care.
- Monitor and evaluate unit performance, implementing improvements as needed.
- Manage budgets, staffing, and resources for the Labor and Delivery unit.
Minimum Mandatory Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing, BSN required.
- Current RN license in the State of Nevada.
- Current ACLS Certification.
- Current NRP Certification.
- Current BCLS Certification.
- Minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience required.
- One (1) to two (2) years progressive management experience required.
- Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care/service appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit/department.
