Surgical Nursing Role at SSM Health
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Preoperative, Postoperative, and Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) team. As a RN in this role, you will provide compassionate nursing care for surgical patients by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating their medical needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized plans of care
- Communicate effectively with patients and care teams to ensure seamless care delivery
- Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions as per hospital policy
- Evaluate care effectiveness and make adjustments as needed
Requirements:
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensing
- No experience required
- Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Registered Professional Nurse (RN) licensure in good standing
