What are the responsibilities and job description for the Property Manager position at St. Andrews - HUD Community?
Must be able to work with senior citizens, displaying sensitivity to their needs and abilities. Performs general office/clerical functions as required, such as answering the telephone, preparing work orders for maintenance work requested by residents, assisting in resident activities if required, accepting waiting list applications for the facility and showing the apartments to prospective residents. Communicate with the Social Service Coordinator when appropriate concerning resident needs and keep the Director of HUD Housing apprised of resident needs and/or problems.
Must have HUD experience!
Prefer high school graduate or equivalent with excellent interpersonal skills. Must perform the listed duties independent of continual supervision. Must be able to operate required office machinery, answer telephone politely and provide excellent customer service. Must have good organizational skills and be able to interact with residents and staff in a positive manner every day. Must possess good English language, spelling, and mathematics skills. Previous experience working with seniors, or a social service background preferred.
