Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Church Nursery Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing a safe, engaging, and fun environment for young children. This role involves caring for toddlers through school-aged children, fostering their development through play and activities. The Nursery Worker will work closely with parents and staff to ensure the well-being of each child.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and engage with children in a safe and welcoming environment.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities.
- Provide nurturing care.
- Monitor children's behavior and provide guidance to support positive social interactions.
- Maintain a clean and organized nursery space, ensuring all materials are safe and accessible.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their children
- Collaborate with other staff members to create a fun experience for children.
Skills
- Experience in childcare or caregiving, particularly with toddlers or school-aged children
- Ability to educate children through play-based learning approaches.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with parents and colleagues.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children are essential traits for success in this role.
- Previous experience as a nanny, babysitter, or in similar roles is highly valued.
Must be 16 years old or older - Sundays Only - Time 10:15 am - 11:45 am

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $11.00 - $12.00 per hour
