Job Summary
We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to join our team. This role is responsible for providing administrative support to the HR department and contributing to a positive and productive work environment, and will serve as a reliable source of information for employees. Our employees are the foundation of our company, and we are committed to creating an environment where everyone can thrive. Our HR Assistant will be a key part of ensuring employee success and will have room to grow their career.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in recruiting tasks by posting job openings, reviewing resumes, scheduling and conducting interviews, and following up with candidates
- Facilitate the onboarding process and oversee new hire orientation
- Compile and process employee documentation and records
- Assist with payroll processing and track employee attendance
- Oversee performance management processes and documentation
- Assist with employee inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures
- Manage social media platforms for HR-related announcements and engagement
- Assist in compliance with OSHA regulations and other HR-related legal requirements
- Collaborate with HR team on various projects related to human resources management
Qualifications
- It is critical that this individual has the ability to manage sensitive situations and information, and maintain appropriate professionalism and confidentiality at all times
- At least two (2) years of experience in Human Resources
- General knowledge of employment laws and practices
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong attention to detail
- Proficiency in administrative duties such as data entry and record keeping
- Enthusiasm for working within a team environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel
Preferred Qualification
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:
