Position Summary:
Under the direction and supervision of the RN, the Unit Assistant provides patients with limited basic care and comfort measures. Performs housekeeping duties in patient rooms and designated area of nursing divisions. Assists in inventory of supplies, linens, and equipment. Transports patients as directed. Perfoms duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission and values. This position is a non-licenced/certified staff member authorized to transport and/or stock medications to meet specified essential job duties. This includes staff who do not have the authority to prescribe, dispense, and/or administer medications.
Education, Experience, & Licensing Requirements:
Education: High School diploma preferred
