JOB SUMMARY

The Accountant maintains the Fixed Asset system. Assists with monthly and year-end financial statements including preparation and entry of journal entries. Assists in preparation of budgets. Complete responsibility for accounting functions and preparation of financial statements for St. Luke's Foundation, St. Luke's Gift Shop and St. Luke's Volunteer Service Guild.

Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles; automated data processing techniques; PC-based word processing, spreadsheet and database management applications. Understand and follow complex oral and written instructions; prioritize work responsibilities; demonstrate the skills to work with co-workers and communicate changes or ideas effectively (written & oral); ability to complete work in an accurate and timely fashion while facing stressful deadlines.
