Description of the Position: (Purpose of the Position):
Assist patrons in accessing and using library resources and supporting the circulation of A/V equipment and related technology using our equipment checkout software.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Checking equipment and technology in/out through our equipment checkout software
- Overseeing routine maintenance of equipment and technology
- Cataloging new equipment
- Maintaining knowledge of collections and circulation processes
- Enforcing library rules and policies for patrons
- Assisting patrons in determining what items that they need/want for their projects and assisting them with equipment usage
- Resolving or reassigning incoming requests and queries via TDX ticketing system
- Creating documentation on how to use the equipment

- Must demonstrate good communication skills

- Strong initiative and reliability
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
- Physical ability to stand for up to 3 hours; bend, lift up to 25 pounds
- Must have a work award and be available to work at least 5 hours a week
