Specifically, St. Paul's School for Girls has over 430 girls in grades 5-12. Position Description
The successful candidate will be a creative, passionate, and experienced middle school math teacher (grades 5-8) with a strong educational background. This person should engage and inspire students. The primary responsibilities of this teacher will be to craft a creative and rigorous project-based curriculum that inspires a love for learning and critical thinking, and to create a classroom environment where students are seen and heard, and feel comfortable taking healthy risks.
This candidate will work with the math department to develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills, collaborate with our learning services team on students with learning needs and work with our academic technology team and department chairs to create an innovative, creative, and technology-based classroom environment. Experience teaching middle school math is preferred with a bachelors degree in math or education required.
Beyond classroom instruction, we fully embrace the teacher/coach model at The St. Paul’s Schools and are excited about the vital role our faculty play in our community. We are particularly eager to meet candidates with coaching experience and/or those who can demonstrate initiative and serve as mentors and program leads in a variety of significant ways outside of the classroom. Faculty members also collaborate on additional supervisory responsibilities and shared duties that enrich the school environment.

The St. Paul’s Schools has a compensation scale based on direct years of teaching experience and degree held. For this opportunity, our salary range is $45,000 to $65,000 annually. Candidates with additional experience or qualifications may be offered a salary outside of the range shown.
