Key Responsibilities
Customer Engagement & Booking Coordination:
- Oversee and manage all tour and tasting bookings, ensuring an exceptional customer experience.
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries related to event bookings, coordinating details to align with customer expectations and facility capabilities.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to promote tours, tastings, and event offerings.
- Manage the retail store, including inventory oversight, merchandising, and maintaining product stock levels.
- Train and lead retail staff to deliver outstanding customer service, meet sales targets, and maintain a welcoming environment.
- Analyze sales trends and implement strategies to maximize retail profitability.
- Schedule and manage Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), ensuring all departments are aligned with business objectives and goals.
- Lead cross-functional teams by providing clear direction, fostering collaboration, and ensuring accountability.
- Develop staff schedules for tours, retail operations, and other customer-facing activities to ensure optimal coverage.
- Work closely with the facilities and production teams to coordinate events and maintain the functionality of the venue.
- Ensure all spaces are prepared for tours, tastings, and events, meeting the highest standards of cleanliness and organization.
- Partner with external vendors and contractors to execute events successfully when necessary.
- Provide day-to-day leadership across all operational areas, ensuring business objectives are met or exceeded.
- Monitor budgets, control costs, and identify opportunities for revenue growth.
- Uphold compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including health and safety standards.
- Act as the face of the distillery, representing the brand in community events and building relationships with key stakeholders.
- Proven experience in hospitality management, retail operations, or a similar leadership role within the distillery, winery, or brewery industry.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills with a proven ability to manage diverse business functions.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with customers, staff, and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in scheduling tools, point-of-sale systems, and event management software.
