What are the responsibilities and job description for the TRIO Clerical - Student Employment position at St. Xavier University?
Summary
This position is accountable for supporting the staff by performing a wide range of basic clerical/office tasks for the Student Success Program office.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Greet visitors, guests and students to the office;
- Answers phones, direct callers to appropriate staff members and schedules appointments for case managers;
- Assists with typing, copying, filing, scanning, preparation of mass mailings, book laptop lending;
- Runs errands throughout the university;
- Assists office manager in all SSP events including cultural, stress release, award ceremonies and welcome;
- Assists office manager with compiling data for Annual Performance Report to the Department of Education;
- Performs related duties as required.
- Be a member of Student Success Program;
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word;
- Basic knowledge of Excel;
- Interpersonal skills;
- Ability to respect confidentiality.

Must be a member of SSP
Description of Hours: Monday-Thursday 8.30am-6.30pm and Friday 8.30am-4.30pm
