HOW YOU CAN MAKE AN IMPACT
Oversee receiving, storing, handling, and shipping of goods.
Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular cycle counts and audits.
Assign tasks, schedule shifts, and provide training to warehouse staff.
Implement and enforce safety guidelines and conduct regular safety drills.
Ensure warehouse equipment is properly maintained and schedule repairs as needed. This includes but is not limited to forklifts and pallet jacks
Develop and implement procedures to improve productivity and efficiency. Including the picking and packing process which is crucial for production.
Address internal and external customer inquiries and resolve issues related to warehouse operations.
HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE
High School Diploma or equivalent; a degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field is preferred
Proven experience in warehouse management or a similar role
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills; proficiency in inventory management software, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Teams, and Outlook
Must have the ability to learn internal ERP system
Reasoning and Decision-Making Skills
Work will be performed outdoors in varying climates as well as temperature control environments inside the warehouse
