Your tasks
- Oversee receiving, storing, handling, and shipping of goods.
- Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular cycle counts and audits.
- Assign tasks, schedule shifts, and provide training to warehouse staff.
- Implement and enforce safety guidelines and conduct regular safety drills.
- Ensure warehouse equipment is properly maintained and schedule repairs as needed. This includes but is not limited to forklifts and pallet jacks
- Develop and implement procedures to improve productivity and efficiency. Including the picking and packing process which is crucial for production.
- Address internal and external customer inquiries and resolve issues related to warehouse operations.
- High School Diploma or equivalent; a degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field is preferred
- Proven experience in warehouse management or a similar role
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills; proficiency in inventory management software, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Teams, and Outlook
- Must have the ability to learn internal ERP system
- Reasoning and Decision-Making Skills
- Work will be performed outdoors in varying climates as well as temperature control environments inside the warehouse
