Now Hiring! We are seeking an experienced Sanitation Supervisor for manufacturing company near Vernon Hills, IL. Qualified candidates must have prior supervisor experience in Maintenance, warehouse cleaning, food manufacturing environment experience with OSHA/GMPs & excellent communication skills. Sanitation supervisor will assist managers, supervising training and completing custodial tasks with cleaning team such as: sanitizing areas, inventory, special projects, waste and training tasks.
This is a temp to hire opportunity!
Schedule: 2nd Shift Hours, overtime only approved by department manager
The job involves supervising, general cleaning and sanitizing of the warehouse. This includes but is NOT limited to the following.
- Ensuring safety of employees and staff
- Training team members
- Following all OSHA/GMPS and warehouse cleaning standard practices
- Monitoring sanitation team and cleaning crew
- Communicating effectively with supervising team
- Maintaining aisles clean and clear of any trash
- Performing maintenance duties and inventory follow-ups
- Sanitizing warehouse employees' work stations during shift changes
- Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms
- Cleaning and sanitizing cafeteria
- Cleaning Office Spaces and Stocking
- Communication with all departments including production leads
- Clearing trash
- Following all dress code procedures and daily demands on the job
- Sweeping floors
- Cleaning coolers and freezers (freezer suit loaned by client)
- Physical requirements: walking, bending, lifting etc...
Full job description will be provided by hiring managers and supervisors of departments. All requirements of job functions will change/update frequently. All candidates must also be able to walk for long periods of time, and work full-time schedules.

Pay: $26.00 - $35.00 per hour
