Job Title: Maintenance Unit Supervisor - Rolling
Location: Davenport, Iowa
Salary: USD $70,000 to $85,000

Responsibilities:
- Maintain a safe work environment and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
- Lead individual safety discussions and job-specific safety reviews.
- Support operating results by managing subordinates to optimize quantity, quality, timeliness, safety, recovery, and delivery performance.
- Provide training, coaching, and mentoring to develop employees.
- Assign tasks to crew members based on business priorities and department guidelines.
- Deploy appropriate crewing arrangements for planned and unplanned circumstances.
- Lead a technically capable maintenance workforce that is diverse, customer-oriented, and flexible.
- Utilize root cause analysis and problem-solving techniques to maintain or restore production.
- Collect data to support the application of root cause analysis and problem resolution.
- Manage equipment operations efficiently, ensuring world-class availability and long-term viability.
- Enhance business objectives regarding quality, cost, waste elimination, and lean manufacturing.
- Make performance-related decisions, including recognition, reward, and discipline, with proper documentation.
- Develop relationships and persuade stakeholders to resolve problems and improve satisfaction.
- Work 12-hour rotating shifts (every 6-12 weeks depending on business conditions).
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 3 years hands-on maintenance experience.
- Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience with direct reports.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States (Visa sponsorship not available).
- ITAR Compliance: U.S. person status required (U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident, Political Asylee, or Refugee).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Mechanical background is a plus.
- Experience working in a union environment is a plus.
- Knowledge of Company policies, HR/IR procedures, and bargaining agreements is a plus.
- Lean Manufacturing (ABS) principles knowledge is preferred.
