Hello Caregivers!
Our sweet Newbury family is looking for a part time nanny for their happy baby boy. The family is excited to meet a dedicated, caring, kind, and flexible caregiver that wants to join their team. Candidates must have experience caring for infants, have knowledge of infant-toddler development, and be well-versed with keeping babies engaged and meeting developmental milestones. Candidates must be flexible, as hours can occasionally change based on Mom's work schedule. Family will provide any schedule changes with advanced notice. Ideally, we are looking for a nanny that is seeking around 20 hours per week and has flexibility. Candidates must be comfortable with 2 medium-large dogs in the home. The nanny will not be responsible for pet care. Mom and dad work from home in a separate office space. We can't wait to hear from you!
Charges: Boy, 5 months old
Base Hours:
Monday: 10am to 1pm
Tuesday: 9am to 4pm
Wednesday: 10am to 3pm
Thursday: 11am to 4pm
Friday: 10am to 1pm
**Weekly schedule subject to changes based on Mom's own work schedule. Hours will always be within Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm
Rate: $25-$30 per hour DOE & fit
Benefits: 5 paid vacation days, 5 paid sick days, 23 hours guaranteed pay per week
Start Date: January 21st 2025 (could start the week prior if candidate prefers)
Job description:
- Creating a safe and stimulating environment for baby
- Lots of play, age appropriate activities, and general engagement!
- Tidying up after child and work day
- Bathing and dressing
- Feeding with specific guidelines for baby's reflux needs
- Preparing bottles, meals, and snacks (once baby starts solids)
- Indoor and outdoor play and going for walks
- Facilitating age appropriate developmental activities- singing, rocking, reading books, etc.
Requirements:
- Warm, patient, loving demeanor
- 5 years of infant care experience with references
- Excellent communication skills
- Active, energetic, LOVES BABIES!
- Organized and professional
- Non-smokers only, please.
- Up-to-date CPR/First Aid Certification
- Up-to-date COVID and Flu vaccines preferred
- Comfortable with dogs in the home
- Can easily get down and up from the floor and carry baby up and down the stairs
- Cheery and Helpful Disposition
- Background Check (provided by agency)
- Driving Record (provided by agency)
- Takes good direction on parenting style and family's routine, then requires minimal to no oversight.
