Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Process Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in process discovery, value stream mapping, and business process automation, coupled with in-depth knowledge of the healthcare domain. As a Process Consultant, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze, design, and optimize processes to drive efficiency, enhance customer experience, and deliver measurable business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct end-to-end process discovery to identify and document existing workflows, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement.
Facilitate value stream mapping sessions to identify value-adding and non-value-adding activities within processes.
Collaborate with stakeholders to design future-state processes aligned with business objectives.
Analyze and recommend business process automation solutions to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.
Leverage your healthcare domain knowledge to ensure compliance with industry regulations and to address domain-specific challenges.
Develop detailed process documentation, including process flows, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and user guides.
Provide recommendations and support for the implementation of process improvement initiatives.
Partner with IT teams to evaluate and implement tools that enable process optimization and automation.
Measure the impact of process changes through key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
Serve as a trusted advisor, educating teams on process improvement methodologies and best practices.
Required Qualifications
Proven experience in process discovery and value stream mapping methodologies.
Expertise in business process automation tools and techniques.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify inefficiencies and propose effective solutions.
In-depth knowledge of the healthcare domain, including familiarity with healthcare processes, regulations, and industry trends.
Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
Proficiency in process mapping tools such as Visio, Lucidchart, or similar software.
Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement frameworks is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
Certification in process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean Six Sigma Green Belt).
Hands-on experience with healthcare-specific systems and tools (e.g., EMR / EHR systems).
