Pay : $22 per hour
Shift : Monday-Friday, 8 : 30 AM - 5 : 00 PM
Responsibilities :
- Administer the Section 8 / Housing Choice Voucher Program waiting lists and determine eligibility for low-income families
- Respond to inquiries via phone, email, and in-person, offering assistance regarding program eligibility, application processing, and general inquiries
- Process applications, review documentation for completeness, and enter data accurately into the computer system
- Verify income, calculate eligibility, and conduct criminal background checks
- Communicate with applicants about eligibility determinations and provide assistance throughout the application process
- Perform rent calculations, manage recertifications, and coordinate with landlords and residents on the Housing Choice Voucher Program
- Ensure compliance with HUD regulations and internal policies
