Who are we? Stafford House Study Holidays are an English Language school, hosted by our state-of-the-art CATS Academy Boston high school located in Braintree, MA. These jobs are residential and so no matter where you live, you can apply to be part of the fun this summer.
As Center Director, you’re the glue that binds the whole program together and makes our students’ stay with us not only educational, but fun, safe, and memorable.
Is it for you? We look for candidates with proven working experience in effective management and leadership, ideally within a summer or year-round school. You’ll oversee the management of the center; therefore, you must be a great communicator and have experience of working with young people from different cultures. This varied role requires management of budgets, customer, and team satisfaction, as well as being the responsible safeguarding lead on site.
Here’s some of the duties you’ll be involved in:
- Coordinating the academic and activities program. Managing and working alongside the Center Management Team, you will be responsible for the high performance and delivery of the student’s experience
- Managing customer expectations. Trouble-shooting any issues that may arise in a professional, calm, and satisfactory way
- Controlling budgets and expenditure
- Act as one of the Designated Safeguarding Leaders for the center
- Ensuring the health, safety and well-being of all students and your team
- Participating in pastoral duties with our students, including night-duties on a scheduled basis
- Working 6 days per week – as part of the management team, this is a fully immersive position
