Job Summary:

The Foreman will oversee the on-site assembly, installation, and dismantling of staging and infrastructure for events. This position is ideal for someone with a background in general construction who thrives in fast-paced, hands-on environments. The Foreman will be responsible for supervising a team of laborers, ensuring safety compliance, and meeting project deadlines and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead a team of laborers and subcontractors during the construction, installation, and teardown of stage structures.
• Interpret project plans, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate execution.
• Assign tasks and monitor progress to meet project timelines and quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA safety regulations and company safety protocols.
• Conduct pre-project briefings and safety meetings with the team.
• Coordinate with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders to address any on-site challenges.
• Inspect completed work for quality assurance and resolve any issues.
• Maintain and manage tools, equipment, and materials on-site.
• Provide hands-on support as needed to assist the team in completing tasks.
• Document daily progress, incident reports, and material usage.

Qualifications:

• 3 years of experience in general construction, staging, or a related field, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Strong understanding of construction techniques, tools, and safety protocols.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and technical drawings.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in using construction tools and equipment.
• Familiarity with OSHA standards and safety practices.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and travel for projects.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the live events or entertainment industry is a plus
• Knowledge of rigging, scaffolding is a plus.
• Certifications such as OSHA 30 and/or forklift operation.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable working at heights and in various weather conditions.
• Capable of standing, walking, and performing physical tasks for extended periods.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
