Field Manager

GENERAL STATEMENT OF JOB

Field Manager is responsible for managing both time and resources to make certain paint and drywall projects are completed on time. This position is responsible for making sure projects are fully staffed when appropriate and that workers can access tools and building materials. The Field Manager is expected to work autonomously to accomplish his/her goals and requires an individual with strong organization, time management skills, and self- motivation.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Management of daily functions of paint and drywall process
• Communication of information captured in field to labor as well as other team members
• Management of daily labor with respect to following appropriate schedules and timelines
• Effective management of labor and materials on job level
• Maintaining relationships with construction managers of national builders in communities

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING

• High school graduation or other equivalent (i.e., GED, college, technical or trade school transcript, foreign equivalency, etc.).
• Strong computer skills (MS Office Suite)

MENTAL AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Individuals may need to ride or drive in a vehicle up to 2 or more hours at a time depending on position and job location.
• Performing this job requires frequent use of hands to handle, control or feel objects, tools, or controls. Must be able to sit, talk, hear, and stand frequently throughout the day.
• Must be able to climb, reach above shoulder height, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl frequently.
• Ability to climb up and down steps
• The position occasionally may require lifting heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and performing strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT AND CONDITIONS

• This position requires working in an outdoors environment.
• Individuals may be exposed to varying temperatures including very hot (above 90 degrees F) or very cold (below 32 degrees F) and all-weather conditions.

TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT

• Office equipment such as computers, tablets, printers, copiers

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
