Field Operations Manager is responsible for the design and implementation of strategies to drive the field operations of a business organization.
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Oversee all field management personnel.
- Develop and implement procedures/technologies for maximizing operational efficiency and profitability.
- Develop and implement best practices and procedures to enhance business growth.
- Collaborate with Internal Operations to integrate new services or improve existing ones.
- Collaborate with scheduling team to ensure even workflow and performance requirements are met.
- Evaluating and enforcing safety standards on site and securing compliance.
- Oversee all field labor personnel.
- Manage construction project execution from start to finish, including planning, scheduling, coordinating, and supervising.
- Ensure projects move forward on schedule and on budget while overcoming any challenges.
- Develop and implement strategies for achieving operational targets within established budgets.
- Plan and organize training programs for company staff to enhance their job knowledge and skill.
- Assist field managers with navigating and resolving field related challenges.
- Evaluate and train field managers to ensure they perform their duties in a timely and effective manner.
- Create and oversee the implementation of field tools to enhance operational effectiveness.
- Build and establish great coworker relationships by assisting field personnel in avoiding obstacles associated with operational policies and procedures.
- Continuously monitor customer satisfaction to ensure company operations meet client expectations.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, vendors, and subcontractors.
- Formulate strategy and timelines around procuring labor resources for their sector.
- Responsible for hiring, firing, and disciplinary actions for all field personnel.
- Oversee administrative tasks such as promotions, compensation negotiation, and transfer of direct reports.
- Assist internal operations team with SOW evaluation and provide pricing structure recommendations.
- Assist in the development and the management of the operations budget.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING
- High school graduation or other equivalent (i.e., GED, college, technical or trade school transcript, foreign equivalency, etc.).
- Microsoft Suite
- Ability to learn new software systems specific to the business
- Valid driver’s license for 3 years and insurable with company insurance policy
- (2) Years of field management or construction management
- Fluent in Spanish a plus but not required
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Maintain a professional demeanor with team members and customers.
- Maintain company information in a confidential manner.
- Attends work regularly and on time with a minimum of tardiness/absences and adheres to company policies and procedures regarding absences and tardiness. Provides adequate notice to higher management with respect to vacation time and time-off requests.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and stressful situations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Accurate, organized, and detail-oriented with exceptional follow-up skills, both internally and externally.
- Interpersonal skills are essential, as working as a team is vital to maintaining an organized team.

- This position requires working in an office and field environment.
