StanCraft Construction Group is seeking a Contract Administrator to join the team! The Contract Administrator is a business administration professional responsible for overseeing contract creation, negotiation, signing, and compliance. This role involves preparing sales and purchase contracts, negotiating terms with partners, updating existing contracts, and ensuring adherence to contract conditions. The Administrator also analyzes potential risks, stays updated on legislative changes, and maintains organized records within ProCore.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Prepare, negotiate, and uphold sales and purchase contracts.
- Review and update existing contracts, explaining terms to stakeholders.
- Ensure employee understanding and compliance with company contracts.
- Analyze potential risks associated with contract terms.
- Stay informed about legislative changes and coordinate with the legal department.
- Ensure deadlines and conditions on contracts are met (e.g., payments, W9, COI).
- Maintain organized records within ProCore.
- Create language standards for existing and new contracts.
- Evaluate, negotiate, and execute contracts using AIA documents.
- Liaise with subcontractors, trades, and material suppliers as necessary.
- Communicate and assist project managers and superintendents in meeting project goals.
- Provide assistance in bid evaluations and offer Notary Services.
- Coordinate and participate in subcontract negotiations.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to effectively negotiate contract terms with internal and external business partners.
- Extensive knowledge of the principles, procedures, and best practices in the industry.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with legal terms and conditions to ensure compliance with contracts.
- Proficient in ProCore
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education and Experience:
· 2-5 years of experience working with contract administration, bonds, bidding or similar field
· Broad knowledge of building systems and construction methods preferred.
