What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Coordinator position at Standard Textile?

The Project Coordinator will support the consultant or the customer account directly. They are responsible for managing projects from beginning to end with minimal assistance. The Project Coordinator will work closely with internal and external teams to proactively manage customers' expectations and ensure project milestones are met.
Responsibilities Include:
- Receive and reply to all communications from assigned consultants or customers
- Manage open order reports on a weekly basis to ensure date management protocol is followed
- Works with installer, consultant or customer on a detailed level to ensure project is field verified and installed per specification and / or customer expectations
- Proactively provide consultants or customers with important order milestones including ship dates and backorders
- Maintain communication with internal departments to ensure all project related milestones are met
- Responsible for maintaining quoted profitability on assigned projects
- Responsible for accurate order entry of product based on field measures, quotes, designer specification and purchase order
KPIs
- Work the open order report weekly
- Acknowledge receipt to all emails within four hours (internal and external)
- Ensure all orders are entered and released for production to align with project timeline and customer request
- Ensure all orders are entered with accurate dates and monitor / update as necessary through order completion / invoicing
Qualifications Include:
Education
- Required: High School Diploma
- Preferred: 4-year degree
Experience
- Required: Customer Service Experience
- Preferred: 3 Years Relevant Experience
Skills
- Required: Strong organizational skills
- Preferred: JD Edwards / Oracle experience
Special Requirements
- Preferred: Microsoft Office skills
