Your Job

As a Senior Property Manager, you provide critical operational support across Stanford Management’s property portfolio. You engage directly with Property Managers, Maintenance Technicians, and Leadership to drive projects to completion, track progress, and ensure timely, cost-effective results. You also sit in on operational gaps, coordinate vendors, manage capital improvement planning, and help enforce consistency in internal systems. This is a multifaceted role blending leadership, logistics, and communication.

You will spend no less than 3 days per week visiting properties and/or engaging with those properties via distance technology.

Our Foundational Goals and Your Contribution to the Company

At the core of every employee’s responsibilities is the achievement of what we call our 5 F’s:

● Full - To the highest degree possible, we maintain 100% occupancy at every property.

● Flush – We collect all rents, in full and on time.

● Flawless - All paperwork, systems, and files are maintained at the highest levels of excellence (inspection-ready) at all times.

● Fabulous – All physical assets are maintained at the highest possible level, including annual capital improvements.

● Friendly – We create and maintain safe and welcoming communities for all tenants, staff and other stakeholders.

You are a patient and active listener with a solutions-driven mindset and healthy professional boundaries.

You are adept at managing multiple, complex projects and are comfortable dealing with ambiguity and competing priorities. You demonstrate strong judgment and are able to assess challenges, prioritize effectively, and adapt quickly as circumstances change. You take ownership of your responsibilities, maintain credibility and professionalism across teams, and ensure that all projects meet or exceed Stanford’s high standards of excellence.

Educational/Experiential Requirements:

● Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent experience (5 years).

● Experience in project management, operations, affordable housing, or property/facilities management.

You engage in a wide range of activities associated with normal office environments, including sitting, kneeling, bending and standing, and using hands and fingers to manipulate a keyboard and mouse, telephone, and other office devices. You regularly travel (car/air) to Stanford properties and our home office, using a personal or company car. You regularly move about Stanford properties to inspect the facilities and meet with co-workers.

Your Responsibilities Include:
