Located in Brooklyn, family-owned and operated, Stanley Lewis Plumbing & Heating is a full-service plumbing & heating company specializing in renovations and installations, both commercial and residential, maintenance and service, as well as repairs.
As heating season approaches, we are looking for the best and brightest Heating Technicians.
As a Heating Tech, you must be able to troubleshoot and repair gas hot-water and steam boilers as well as wall-hung gas and electric units. You must understand components that include low water cut-offs, flame-out sensors, aquastats, relief valves, expansion tanks, flue pipes, thermocouples and more. Being able to wire new boilers is a plus.

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIRED SKILLS
- 5 years, minimum, experience working with heating systems
- Experienced in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and servicing the following heating systems:
- Boilers -
- Wall-Hung
- Conventional gas cast iron
- Hot Water and Steam systems
- Water Heaters - Gas and Electric
- Boilers -
- Experience installing packaged and sectional gas fired steam and hot water boilers is a plus
- Must be proficient with a electronic multi-tester
- Must understand the following components:
- Low water cut-offs
- Fill Valves
- Flame-out sensors
- Aquastats
- Relief valves
- Expansion tanks
- Flue pipes
- Thermocouples
- Gas valves
- Other related boiler components
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Swift and accurate execution of all tasks
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Clean/Valid Driver’s License. Not currently suspended or revoked. Low/no points.
