Account Manager Key Functions:
- Serve as the primary commercial interface between Stant and aftermarket distributor customers, retailers, and e-commerce partners.
- Cultivate new customers and business opportunities across aftermarket channels, including warehouse distributors, buying groups, and independent resellers.
- Schedule regular customer meetings, sales touchpoints, and performance reviews to strengthen partnerships and drive growth.
- Promote Stants aftermarket solutions in every customer and industry interaction, reinforcing our brand, quality, and value proposition.
- Build strong, trust-based relationships with customers to drive long-term loyalty and revenue growth.
- Collaborate with engineering and product management to identify new opportunities and ensure our offerings meet aftermarket demand and industry trends.
- Drive new business opportunities, including RFIs, RFQs, and exclusive distributor agreements.
- Utilize Salesforce CRM to manage your sales funnel, track customer engagement, and execute sales strategies.
- Lead and influence pricing strategies, ensuring competitive positioning while achieving gross profit targets.
- Work closely with operations, logistics, and supply chain teams to ensure product availability, optimal inventory levels, and efficient distribution.
- Meet and exceed sales and revenue growth goals on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Secure and maintain all NDAs, contracts, pricing agreements, and program documents for each customer.
- Obtain and efficiently convey the voice of the customer to Stant leadership to ensure strong market responsiveness and high customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years in a commercial role within the automotive aftermarket or a related industry.
- Experience with aftermarket distributor sales or wholesale account management is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of aftermarket pricing models, distribution channels, and competitive landscape is preferred.
- Bachelors degree in business, marketing, or engineering (or equivalent experience).
- A secondary major or minor in communications, marketing, or supply chain management is a plus.
- Experience in account management, sales, or business development within the aftermarket automotive industry is highly preferred.
- Manufacturing and supply chain knowledge is a plus, including:
- Plastic and rubber injection molding
- Stamping and metal forming
- Packaging and shipping logistics
- Inventory management and demand forecasting
- Experience working with distributors, retailers, and e-commerce platforms is a plus.
- Proficiency in Salesforce CRM or similar customer relationship management tools is preferred.
- Must demonstrate outstanding communication skills, including presentations, negotiations, verbal, and written communication.
- Must exhibit strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills to drive growth in the aftermarket sector.
- Must be self-motivated, results-driven, and able to build long-term customer relationships.
