As a Sales Intern, you will play a crucial role in expanding our reach by making outbound calls to prospective accounts across a designated territory. This role demands robust sales skills, excellent interpersonal and relationship-building capabilities, and a solid understanding of marketing and business strategies. Your primary tasks will involve prospecting and interacting with diverse businesses, including ENT clinics, hospitals, universities, and private owners. You will employ consultative sales techniques to generate new business and set appointments for our Account Executives. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain comprehensive knowledge about the hearing healthcare industry while developing essential sales skills in a real-world environment.  Job Summary: As a Sales Intern, you will play a crucial role in expanding our reach by making outbound calls to prospective accounts across a designated territory. This role demands robust sales skills, excellent interpersonal and relationship-building capabilities, and a solid understanding of marketing and business strategies. Your primary tasks will involve prospecting and interacting with diverse businesses, including ENT clinics, hospitals, universities, and private owners. You will employ consultative sales techniques to generate new business and set appointments for our Account Executives.

 Responsibilities:

 

  • Generate and follow up on leads, and make approximately 60 cold calls per day to potential clients.
  • Work collaboratively with various departments such as Marketing, Customer Service, and Education to enhance sales strategies.
  • Assist in promotional activities, manage the database, and encourage registrations for summits and training programs.

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Currently enrolled in a sales certificate program or part of a sales team at an accredited university.
  • A strong desire to learn and a foundational understanding of the sales process, including objection handling.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Independent worker with a strong capacity to work in a team across functions, including Account Executives, Marketing, and Management.
