Management & Coordination : Managing assigned Multinational accounts working closely with Underwriters to ensure the best possible structuring of Multinational Programs, including :
Territorial coverage - understanding how Multinational Network operates
Premium allocations are appropriate & tax calculations
Liaison with the Multinational Network to ensure local policy issuance
Managing service levels / standards to ensure policies are issued on time
Preparing Multinational Proposals and Binders
Understanding basics of Reinsurance Agreements required for all Programs
Oversight of premium payment and reconciliation at the Producing Office level
Liaison with Network Aggregator / RI Accounting to ensure RI Panel & Captive payments
Oversight of claims and claims reporting
Compliance : ensuring the adherence to local regulations, retentions, tariffs, reinsurance flows and tax calculations for each of your assigned accounts Communication : working with local offices in order to ensure local policy issuance, premium collection, remittance and claims notifications. Clear communication with Brokers at both the Producing Office level and local level to ensure consistency in instructions and problem resolution.
Project integration : Support the SGS project team and in the early development of the Starr proposition the MPM will be critical in providing expert guidance and direction on process design, IT enhancements and financial management.
Experience
Minimum 5 years' experience in Multinational Program business, or related area Understanding of financial management and Reinsurance structures Understanding of currency and exchange rates Liaison with multiple countries around the world and strong cultural awareness
