- Enhanced and discovery analytics
- Statistical modeling and forecasting
- Performance and operational trend analytics
- Modernization of analytical tools and capabilities
- Exploratory data analysis and tool creation
- Data management enhancements and automation
Duties and Responsibilities may include:
- Using advanced analytical techniques such as statistical and predictive modeling, data manipulation and visualization to address solutions for business planning and other decision making needs.
- Building and/or modifying existing applications to meet project requirements including designing, coding, testing and implementing.
- Contributing to modernization efforts to help ensure data is available to support future analytic capabilities.
- Compiling, preparing and translating complex data into user-friendly reports with actionable insights.
- Partnering with associates and other data/analytics areas to implement and execute research and reporting activities.
- Utilizing business intelligence data systems, financial/statistical resources and analytical software to deliver data-driven solutions that leverage visualization, statistics or other mathematical approaches for data analysis.
Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum GPA of 3.5 out of 4.0 (overall and in major)
- Must be enrolled in school through the completion of the internship
- Pursuing degree in Business Analytics, Mathematics, Economics, MIS, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Data Science, Computer Science or related field(s)
- Programming skills in business analytics software (SQL, R, Python, AWS Cloud Products or related)
- Knowledge and/or experience with database querying, data modeling and statistics
- MS Excel & PowerPoint proficiency
- Qualified candidates will have intellectual curiosity and the technical aptitude to utilize financial, statistical, and other types of data to analyze business problems, draw conclusions, and articulate solutions

Internship Information:
- Location: Richardson, TX; Tempe, AZ; Dunwoody, GA; or Bloomington, IL
- Our internship will occur May 20, 2024 - August 2, 2024
- Competitive candidates will be invited to participate in online interviews during the fall of 2023
- Hourly Rate: $28.00/hour based on a 38.75-hour work week
- Hybrid work environment as internship requirements allow (in-office and work from home)
