Responsibilities Convention & Travel provides event planning services to the enterprise.
We consult with business partners to plan high quality events that support business objectives. The Production Coordinator role is focused on coordinating pre and post travel processes for Enterprise sponsored meetings.
Works directly with qualifiers via phone, emails and Online Contact Forms related to State Farm sponsored events and meetings.
Key Functions : Works with key team members and leadership to compose and manage audio / visual and event production project timelines, resources, estimates, and budget;
Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication, as well as problem solving skills Designs room set ups for meetings and receptions Runs live meetings by operating media components and directing audio / visual crews Remains current on industry trends Brings forward opportunities to increase production efficiencies and reduce expenses Additional Information : Job may require travel via commercial transportation and / or operating motor vehicles May be subject to working outside of normal working hours, including weekends May require involvement in management-approved education programs and activities as applicable for continued development Exhibits thorough knowledge of the State Farm brand, department and company goals, strategies and vision, and compliance standards such as intellectual property, copyright, and trademark guidelines This will be a hybrid position located in Bloomington, IL or the Dallas Hub in Richardson, TX.
Qualifications Demonstrates advanced communication, organization, and interpersonal skills resulting in the ability to coordinate large or complex event production projects with minimal support or direction Deep understanding of audio / visual products and processes to ensure seamless event production Partners with Corporate Legal, Purchasing, or other unit members on audio / visual and event production vendor negotiations Routinely leads the production of assignments that are highly sensitive or complex in nature Develops recommendations and establishes production processes that support company and / or business goals Exercises independent decision-making and judgment in the development of event production projects May lead other coordinators on large-scale efforts and assists and mentors less-experienced team members Applicants are required to be eligible to lawfully work in the U.
